Motorbike injury compensation success
Personal Injury lawyer, Carly Sylvester, has recently assisted a client in bringing a motorbike injury compensation claim for a road traffic accident he was involved in while riding his motorcycle.
Mr B was travelling along a quiet country road when he approached the top of a hill. Unknown to him, at the bottom of this hill a driver had begun to pull out of a lay-by with the intention of making a U-turn in the road. The car driver had failed to check that the road was clear before undertaking the manoeuvre and pulled out in front of our client.
Mr B attempted to avoid colliding with the car, but in the process of doing so his motorcycle slid from underneath him, causing him to hit the road at force and being knocked unconscious.
Despite Mr B wearing the correct motorcycle gear, the impact of the accident caused multiple injuries, including two fractured ribs, a fractured left clavicle and various soft tissues.
Mr B contacted specialist lawyer, Carly Sylvester, to bring a motorbike injury compensation claim on his behalf. Carly offered to assist him on a No Win – No Fee basis. This meant that Mr B did not need to worry about funding legal fees or paying for expenses such as the cost of medical reports.
Shortly after submitting the claim to the car driver’s insurance company an admission of legal liability was soon received. This resulted in an out of court settlement being reached, with Mr B receiving a total compensation package of £16,500.
